Inviting someone into your home—and your clutter—can feel daunting. Rest assured, I provide a judgment-free, supportive space where we focus on practical, joyful tidying that transforms your home into a place that loves you back. Read on to learn more about me and my approach.

Mary Poppins and Me

Tidy Beginnings

Growing up in Southern California, my love for Mary Poppins took flight during visits to Disneyland (pun intended). Who wouldn’t adore a nanny who brings order with a snap of her fingers? As a child, I loved making spaces polished and purposeful, often dancing and  singing Disney tunes while testing the flying capabilities of any umbrellas I came across.

Educational Explorations

While I studied marine conservation and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), tidying was always a favorite extracurricular. I love finding patterns, creating structure, and turning complexity into clarity—whether in data or in homes. Who knew my passion for organizing information would lead to organizing lives?

Professional Path

I’ve spent my career in GIS and cartography, using data, maps, and storytelling to support global health and humanitarian efforts. My north star has long been helping people navigate complexity with clarity, structure, and purpose. I have always been drawn to systems that create order and empower people.

Passion to Practice

BInspired by Mary Poppins, Marie Kondo, and preparedness, I created The Preparista to help people design spaces that support their lives. As a certified KonMari Consultant, I love working one-on-one with clients, witnessing the transformative power of tidying—not just in their homes, but in their lives.
